Project Purpose
The purpose of this project is to address multi-modal operational and safety issues along the US 97 corridor through downtown La Pine. The study will focus on the segment between 1st Street and 6th Street with an emphasis on interim, mid-term, and long-term corridor and intersection improvements.

 
Project Goals
  • Identify strategies to improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety along and across the US 97 corridor.
  • Identify a phased improvement plan for the US 97 corridor that addresses long-term corridor needs.
  • Develop cost estimates for the selected improvement options that can be used to obtain project funding.
